After I place an order why can I update the shipping on some items but not others?

If items ship to our warehouse we can update the shipping address.  This will apply to suiting, outerwear, and belts.  Direct ship items are shirts, knits and casual pants which we cannot make any address updates to once the factory receives the order and the status shows “In Production.”
